"Sooo I made a list of the top-rated agents in the Research Triangle and narrowed it down to 7. This office is in a prime location and happened to be 7 minutes from where I was running errands, so I stopped by unannounced. Upon entering the office, I was instantly greeted with smiles, welcoming vibes, and was cheerfully asked “How can I help you?” I had a multi-product transaction that required a state-to-state transfer in addition to coverage changes. It was a doozy! But it was no match for Alyssa & Deb’s level of expertise. We laughed, they offered me snacks as I waited, and had my policies tied up into a neat little bow before I left. AND my rate is MUCH lower now too! So blessed to have found this agency! 😩🙌🙌🙌"

"Absolutely awful. Initially, they were very quick to give me a quote and a fair price. Then, after we closed on a new house, this office decides to drop our home owners insurance claiming that our 13 year old roof needs to be replaced and us less than 30 days to find a new home insurer. They never sent someone out to review the roof (which was missing 1 shingle and had no issue on our inspection). Their assessment was based on drone footage from years ago and they refused to allow us to appeal. I had been with state farm for years, never again."

"I have been a State Farm customer for years ever since working in an agent office. This office has given me the worst service and engaged in outright illegal activity on my account and I don’t trust them but specifically an agent named Deb as she was the one to “assist” me. I moved from Durham to Chapel Hill in June, 2024 and requested 1. A change in the coverage address 2. Adding additional interest 3. Adding a named insured THAT WAS IT. The employee who “helped” me, Deb, proceeded to lower my liability coverage from 1Mil to 100K and remove endorsements from my policy. When I asked her why she did that instead of keeping the same coverages as requested, she apparently decided herself that my limits were too high and lowered them of her own volition and my endorsements didn’t make sense to her! Yeah, I wrote the original policy so I think I know what I need better than literally anyone else. When I told her that it was illegal under Ch. 58, Article 41 of the insurance regulatory reform act (58-41-20), and demanded they be reinstated she didn’t take responsibility or apologize she just passed me to another employee and promised that it would be fixed. Despite my numerous attempts to have this resolved, as of late August it remains unchanged, which is why i’m writing this review instead. Suffice to say I will be leaving this office and cannot in good faith recommend this office when I know better offices are out there that can actually help you or at the very least try to. The agents have a fiduciary responsibility to maintain and enhance policies and coverages and this office has failed to do either with an impressive dedication. Please fix my policy!!! Policy changes take 2 weeks not 2 months, I used to submit them myself so I know first hand!!!! 2/5⭐️"

"I had an excellent experience today with Chase Kimball. I phoned his office needing basic liability insurance. He asked a few questions and told me he would provide a quote. Long story short. He researched some things and called me back with a quote. I asked if I could see him at 2 pm to sign the papers and bring him a check. Upon arrival I was met with a cordial smile and a firm handshake. I could not be happier with this experience! No doubt, I will be doing business with him again!"

"I am disappointed with the outcome of my experience. I purchased a policy from State Farm and I spoke with Deb who appeared to be a very trusting individual. We went through the information to get the policy started and I was asked if I agreed to authorize my first months payment and I agreed. When I received my emailed receipt, I was double charged without my permission. I immediately contacted Deb, who acted as though she was trying to assist me with getting the charge reversed. Obviously, that was not the case, she told me a couple of times that she was on the phone getting the issue taken care of, then there was no communication from her via text, or email. I emailed Mike and received an I am out of the office until July 1, message. This was an awful experience and I would not recommend using this company, unless you go into the office and take care of your policy face-to-face so you can see exactly what you are being charged. My issue was resolved by Deb and I appreciate her getting back to me with a resolution."
